Cake with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and orange
Ingredients
Main Ingredients:
- 1 cup (250 ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 500g self raising flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- salt 1 cup orange juice
- Zest of 2 oranges
Directions
Beat the oil and sugar in a mixer. In the following order, add: eggs, orange zest, juice and then slowly pour the flour.
Pour the mixture into a buttered baking pan or large cake mould.
Preheat oven to 180ο Celsius and bake the cake for about 1 hour.
