Cake with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and orange | Lía | Extra virgin olive oil from Greece

Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

1 cup (250 ml) extra virgin olive oil
500g self raising flour
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
salt 1 cup orange juice
Zest of 2 oranges

Directions

Beat the oil and sugar in a mixer. In the following order, add: eggs, orange zest, juice and then slowly pour the flour.

Pour the mixture into a buttered baking pan or large cake mould.

Preheat oven to 180ο Celsius and bake the cake for about 1 hour.
